Established in 1870, our winery proudly holds the title of the second oldest in Napa Valley, a region synonymous with world-class wines and breathtaking landscapes. This storied estate not only encapsulates a pivotal chapter in the history of Californian viticulture but also serves as a living monument to the pioneering spirit of George Yount, the visionary who first introduced viticulture to Napa Valley.

The origins of the Estate Yountville are deeply intertwined with the very roots of winemaking in Napa Valley. It was here, amid the fertile grounds of what would become one of the most renowned wine regions in the world, that George Yount planted the first grapevines. His foundational efforts in viticulture laid the groundwork for the flourishing wine industry that would follow, making the Estate not just a witness to history, but an integral part of it. In honor of his contributions, the town of Yountville bears his name, further immortalizing his legacy and the indelible mark he left on the region.

Today, the Estate Yountville continues to embody the essence of Napa Valley winemaking, blending historic charm with the pursuit of excellence in viticulture and enology. Visitors to the estate are invited to step back in time, to a period when winemaking was less about science and more about intuition and a deep connection to the land. Yet, despite its historic roots, the Estate remains at the forefront of innovation, continuously refining its techniques to produce wines that are a true expression of the unique terroir of Napa Valley. At the Estate Yountville, the past and present converge, offering a wine experience that is as rich and nuanced as the wines themselves.
